Grilled Mackerel with Sweet Soy Sauce Sambal


Grilled mackerel is easy and quick to cook. I don´t think that you need the recipe, do you?

Ingredients:
2 Mackerels
a juice of a lemon
salt, as desired
Methods: Heat the Grill. Clean and rinse the mackerels. Rub salt and lemon juice over the fish and leave for 15 minutes. Grill the fish until the skin a bit gold brown.
Sambal Kecap/Sweet Soy Sauce Sambal
1 cherry tomato, roughly sliced
1 shallot, sliced
6 bird´s green&red eye chillies, cut into small pieces
7 tablespoons Kecap Manis Bango/Sweet Soy Sauce

    to Yulia: Iya tuh, karena ikan mackerelnya fresh jadi rasanya enak banget, nggak perlu banyak bumbu. Cuman ya itu, pengen nambah melulu.

  6. Retno, I suka ikan bakar cicah with kicap manis. Sedap !!! but I hardly grill ikan because hubby tak suka makan ikan ;(

    Florian doyannnn banget tuh Mbak Mackerel segar, biasanya aku goreng sih, cuma kalo buat Florian minus sambel kecap :D

  11. wah ini ikan kedoyanannku, secara ga sengaja dapetin ikan ini juga di jakarta, katanya kalau di jakarta namanya ikan saba, memang enak, gak perlu banyak bumbu......digoreng aja juga dah enak....
