Bakpao 2
Happy New Year 2014 :). Helwah inspires me how to make this bakpai better then before, thank you
Bakpao
ingredients
Dough A:
1 sachet yeast /hefe
1 tablespoon sugar
50 ml water
100 g flour
Blend all ingredients A in a small bowl, cover dough A with kitchen towel or plastic wrap, ferment in room temperatur or in the oven 50°C for about 30 minutes, until the dough double in size and then combine with dough B
Dough B:
500 g flour
250 ml milk+coconutmilk (125 ml milk+125 ml coconut milk)
25 g mashed potato powder+200 ml hot water or milk (75 g - 100 g mashed potato)
1 tablespoon margarine
1 tablespoon corn flour or speisestarke
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
combine all ingredients B in a large bowl, Add dough A. Add More flour if needed. Ferment for about 30 minutes
Remove the fermented dough from the bowl and divide it into 28 pieces, fill with beef, mung beans or whatever do you like as filling ^^, set aside for about 30 minutes then
steam for about 15 minutes
