Semur Daging/Beef in sweet soya souce


1 kg beef
3 potatoes, peeled and cut into 4 or 6 pieces
1 onion, finely sliced
3 tomatoes cut into 4 pieces
1 teapoon white pepper powder
5 cloves
1/4 tsp nutmeg powder
2 bayleaves
2 cm galangal, crushed
sweet soya souce
500 ml water 
4 tbsp coconut milk
4 tbsp cooking oil

spice to grind : 1 tbsp coriander,  2 red chillies, 4 cloves garlic, 50 g shallots

saute spice paste until fragrant, then add beef, water and other ingredients except potatoes and coconut milk . Bring to boil, simmer until beef tender. Finally, add potatoes and coconut milk.
