Apfelkuchen/Apple Pie
Click the recipe here
I just made a slighly modification then the recipe above.
Sprinkle about 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder on the top of apples and a half of the dough still crumble to cover the apples.
Ingredients:
300 g all purpose flour
100 g sugar
150 g butter + 20 g butter
1 egg
1 tsp baking powder
4 apples, cut into pieces
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
directions:
Preheat oven to 180°C. Mix all of ingredients well. Cover a springform cake tin with a baking paper. I briefly whizz plain flour in the food processor with butter, sugar, baking powder, egg until it resembles coarse breadcrumbs. Devide the dough into 2 equal portion , and let the half of the dough still crumble as topping. For the base of pie, continue to knead with your hand until the dough mix well.
Place a half of dough into the spring form. Add pieces of apples on the top of dough, sprinkle with cinnamon powder and cut 20 g butter into small pieces and put over the top of the sliced apples. Cover the apples with the rest of dough. Finally, bake the Pie approx. 45 minutes.
