Pandan-White egg Cake
I made 3 x Nastar´s recipe and still had leftover 12 white eggs (400 ml) in my fridge. After searching in internet, I found this recipe from creative kitchen. My cake doesn´t look perfect, probably coz of cooled white eggs or I modified the original recipe. I have no idea. Any suggestions??
Ingredients:
400 ml white eggs
1 teaspoon cake emulsifier
200 g castor sugar
150 g all purpose flour
125 g butter, melted
1 tablespoon pandan paste
for garnish:
100 g cheese, shredded
200 g whipped cream (200 g schlagsahne+1 sachet sahnesteif, beated)
4 tablepoon castor sugar

Hi Retno, may be you can try half butter, and half vegetable oil, because butter is heavy in weight,oil is lighter, but If you put half and half, the taste still good,you can still taste the butter,this is the cheating way, I always do that,so your cake become soft and lighter, I hope this help.Egg white have to be in room temperature. By the way your cake look lovely.Happy baking.
mbak aku juga kalau bikin kue pakai putih telur selalu ga sukses. Kalaupun jadinya bagus, kuenya agak membal kaya karet...
jadi inget pandan angel loaf cake yg pernah aku bikin yahh mbak, cuman punya mbak Retno lbh cantik dengan dekorasi.. pasti rasanya enak dan ringan putih telur gitu lho

kenapa gagalnya Ret? dense texture? aku sendiri belum pernah coba resep ini, biasanya putih telur dibikin lapis pandan yg di kukus.

Menurutku, jumlah cairan jadi terlalu banyak tuh...
Kalau nambah jumlah cairan, usahakan mengimbangi dengan menambah jumlah bahan keringnya.
Telur dingin tidak masalah sama sekali...untuk bikin apapun telur dingin ok-ok aja.

aku bikin cake ini th lalu, aku tambahin susu kental manis malahan it's still ok, tapi aku bikinnya jg gak tinggi2 jadi dia ngembangnya juga gak susah-susah ^_^ don't know what went wrong to ur cake... but it looks good btw
