Putting Up: Pineapple Jam

Pixie You say Tomahto, I say tomayto and Rosie bakes a ´Peace´ of Cake arranged a preserved event called Putting Up. Though I don´t have many experiences to make preserves, I really like to participate this event.Traditionally, fruit preserves are made from fruit combined with sugar and the use of pectin. Pineapple contains only little pectin, but I don´t add more pectin. Just made it in a simple way.

Ingredients:
1 ripe pineapple, peeled, cut into pieces then crushed
10 tablespoons sugar
1 stick cinnamon
1 tablespoon vanilie sugar
1/4 teaspoons salt

directions: combine the crushed pineapple ant other ingredients in sauce pan. Bring to boil then reduce heat, strirring constantly. Cook until water is left. Remove from heat and pour into sterilized Jars.
